 On the 22nd of August, 1846, Daniel arrived at Hobart Town aboard the “Palmyra”

 On the 3rd of September 1846 Daniel’s period of labour was set at 15 months to be served at Rocky Hills Probation Station  
    24th October 1846 Daniel charged with misconduct at Rocky Hills Probation Station

 19th June 1847 Daniel charged with disobedience at Rocky Hills Probation Station  
    18th November 1847 Daniel granted Ticket of Leave for one month from 12th November 1847  
    18th December 1847 Daniel becomes a Pass Holder at Spring Bay

 On the 18th of September, 1848, Daniel & Ann’s son, Daniel, marries Mary Nawl at St Michael, Coventry  
    3rd December 1848 Daniel charged with being drunk at Spring Bay   
    18th December 1848 Daniel at Prossers Plains

 19th March 1849 Daniel granted Ticket of Leave for 3 months   
    21st June 1849 Daniel granted Ticket of Leave for 3 months

   4th October 1849 Daniel gaoled at Buckland for misconduct

    13th April 1850 Ann Tadman, Dan’s future wife, departs the Downs aboard the ‘Baretto Junior‘ after sentencing to seven years transportation  
    25th Jul 1850 Ann Tadman arrives Hobart aboard the ‘Baretto Junior’   
    6th August 1850 Daniel recommended for Conditional Pardon

 3rd April 1851 Ann Tadman sentenced to 1 month hard labour for Absence without Leave from Factory Hobart  
    28th August 1851 Ann Tadman sentenced to 1 month hard labour for Absence without Leave from Factory Hobart
